High Definition DISH Network Receivers

A High-Definition satellite receiver is required to receive High Definition programming from DISH Network. HDTV Programming – DISH Network offers a variety of HD programming such as theater-quality movie channels, educational and nature programming, PPV HD movies, and HD broadcasts of special events, including concerts, boxing matches and professional sporting events. You can also receive VOOM high definition from DISH Network as well. . The newer high definition DISH receivers (VIP 722 and VIP 211) are MPEG-4 compression compatible.
